Stereotactic Radiosurgery

Stereotactic radiosurgery is one of the techniques that University of Mississippi Medical Center neurosurgeons can use for treating certain diseases in the brain without conventional brain surgery or an incision. The procedure, known as gamma knife surgery, targets small doses of radiation to a single location from several directions.
